Jacobabad: Jamat-e-Islami, Sindh’s general secretary Mumtaz Hussain Sehtu said that no bill is accepted against Islam and Sharia. He said that to pass a resolution against the Islamic Ideology Council in Sindh Assembly is against the country’s constitution as Islamic Ideology Council is one of the best forums of country.
Jamat-e Islami MPA expressed his thoughts to the media after showing condolence to the nephew Abdul Rehman Afridi of district’s president Shaheed Abdul Quddus Afridi for his death. Mumtaz Hussain Sehtu said that we do not accept any resolution that passed against the Qur’an and the Sunnah in National Assembly as Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam but today non-Islamic decisions are taken in the assemblies. He further added that assemblies have to take decisions according to Quran, Sharia and Sunnah because any assembly is not allowed to take any decision against Islam.
Mr. Mumtaz Hussain Sehtu said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is never remained separate from government because if Prime Minister is from PPP then Governor is from MQM in Sindh. He said that Karachi Operation is just a drama because operation is doing after announcements and advertisements as terrorists have moved to safest place after the announcements and advertisements of Karachi operation. Jamat-e Islami leader told that operation should be done in secret manner in order to arrest terrorists.
