Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz Arisar (JSQM-A) Shows Concern

One of the popular nationalist political parties of Sindh, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz Arisar (JSQM-A) has shown its concerns for arresting Deputy Vice President Ashiq Keerio. During a press conference, activist of JSQM-A Mohammad Sualeh said that the Umerkot Police had arrested District Vice President of JSQM-A Mirpurkhas from Pipri Karachi, along with his wife Sadaf Keerio and 4 children Kaneez Fatima, Iqra, Bisma, Talha and Ali. He said that the police had taken the whole family with them in Umerkot and then fired on the right leg of Ashiq Keerio, after which he had been shifted to the hospital.

The spokesperson of JSQM-A Mohammad Sualeh has condemned the unlawful act of the police and asked the authorities to immediately free him, as he is not involved in any crime. On the other end, DSP of Umerkot City, Ali Raza Leghari has claimed in a press conference that Ashiq Keerio is a professional criminal and 35 different cases have been made against him. He said that the suspect was arrested 4 days ago after an encounter with the police, due to which he had been wounded.

Ali Raza Leghari also told the media that FIR has been registered against Ashiq Keerio, in Ghulam Nabi Shah police station.
