JI Fata Chief Sahibzada Haroonur Rasheed Says Peace Jirga On 1st May

Peshawar: The Jamaat-i-Islami Fata Chief Sahibzada Haroonur Rasheed said a peace jirga for the district will be held on 1st May at Nishtar Hall in the provincial capital. Sahibzada Haroonur Rasheed said people are to participate in the event, where Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Sami chief Maulana Samiul Haq and JI chief Sirajul Haq will be among the speakers.

JI Fata Chief told to a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club that supporters of Taliban and government peace committees will also be requested to the event to recognize about the violence-affected tribesmen’s problems, especially harms to their life and property. This will bring an improvement in regard for solid steps to end the explosive situation and also motivate the pertinent authorities to concentrate on an unstable situation.

Sahibzada Haroonur Rasheed insisted the government and Taliban committees to present actual issues and problems faced by the Fata people. JI Fata leaders Dr Munsif Khan, Shah Faisal Afridi, Shah Jahan Afridi and Professor Abdur Raqeeb, Mr Rasheed said it was not an all parties’ conference but a peace Jirga where public would take part on the basis of their suggestion with Fata to discuss their matters to the Taliban committees and government for reestablishing normality in the region according to the needs and desires of the citizens.Jamat-i-Islami

The JI Fata chief asked for thoughtful efforts to speak on the problems which are facing by tribesmen, as he said that most evacuated people lived under dejected situations and are expecting the government’s support for restoration.
