Gharo: The Chairman of Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Sughan Qureshi raised his finger over Sindh government while saying that Sindh government is responsible for the flood disaster in Sindh which came in 2010. Government’s initiatives are unsatisfactory regarding possible flood and we will not allowed any minister or counselor to break dams in order to save their lands, Sughan Qureshi added.
JSQM Sughan Qureshi further said while talking to the journalists after visiting different places of district that Ministers and advisers are only busy in photo session at dams. He said that we express our sympathy with the victims who lost their loved ones in the devastation caused by the floods in Punjab but Punjab government is responsible for all this disaster. [alert style=”green”]JSQM will form relief camps at Qadirpur loop bund while workers of JSQM will personally monitor sensitive dams, Sughan Qureshi commented.[/alert]
The leader of JSQM told that Sindh government has given Rs. 2 Crore to every district for the strengthening of dams but all money fell into a pocket of corruption and no work has been done in this regard. At the event senior Vice Chairman Dr. Niaz Kilani, kheer Ansari and other leaders of JSQM were presented with the Chairman Sughan Qureshi.
