Social Media Coordinator
Job Profile: You represent the arrival of new age in media and communication. You are a young dynamic man or woman, in your twenties, with a natural comfort level with computers, internet and surfing. You are someone who had had a personal computer or laptop at home for the past several years and you have spent last few years surfing on the net and discovering the power of cyberspace in terms of reaching out to different sections of society across the barriers of age, gender, race, color and geography.
Your domain will include all types of social Media be it YouTube, Facebook, Twitter or MySpace but your activity will be much wider than that; you will find ways and means to introduce, promote and market the new television channel and its content through all means available in cyberspace.
You will work in close contact with News & Desk Editors and with Current Affairs producers and Content Head of the Channel, to stay abreast of the content that is being generated and discussed by various sections of the television portal and you will develop solutions to generate debate about it on the net. You are someone who is comfortable with technology, understand the basic jargon and can work with web developers and designers. You are also an energetic person who understands news and current affairs as a commodity, is interested in dynamics of Pakistani society and are aware of things happening across the larger world. You are preferably under 30 years of age on 30th April 2012.
