President Asif Ali Zardari inaugurated Waseela-e-Haq Sindh schemes. The 12 billion rupees scheme has been launched by the Sindh government and Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). Under this scheme interest free loan of (300000 rupees would be given through computerized balloting. Sindh Bank would disburse the amount of loan to every eligible youngster.
The loan will be given to successful applicants after re-verification as to ensure that applicants have no job or source of income. Anyone who would be of 19 to 35 years of age with minimum qualification of matriculation will get the loan through Waseela-e-Haq Sindh schemes. The recipients would also be provided training, support and advice, she said
According to Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah almost 35000 educated unemployed youth would be benefited from this Waseela-e-Haq scheme and they will get the opportunity to set up their own business.

Kachhi or Kachhi Kohli
We are Kachhi or Kachhi Tribal people. We called by few names as Kachhi, Kachhi Kohli, Wagadi Kohli and Gujarati Kohli. Actually these names are given us by places where we actually belong from. Gujarat of India is our actual place and there we were living in Wagad and Kutch Bhuj so this is the reason that we are Kachhi, Wagadi and Gujarati Kohli. Our language called Gujarati. But still majority or our people are in Gujarat India.
After India Pakistan War in 1947 a part of us migrated here in Pakistan from India via train, desert by camel and some by walk.
Now in Pakistan we are about 550000 Kachhi people situated which mostly located in Sindh Province. We are very hard workers and hospitable. Majority of us lives in rural areas and makes mud houses, huts and some makes Good Location Homes by packed Brakes. We depends on agriculture farming under landlords because majority have no their own land here that’s why we are migratory people.
Around 80% of the Kachhi people are landless tenants living in remote villages of lower Sindh. They work on share cropping system and due to illiteracy mostly falls into debt at the time of harvesting, as they don’t have any record, however livestock is the major supplementary source of income which support their livelihood and survival.
Work
Before Kachhi people were slave under Thakurs so they had always fear of Thakurs, also Kachhi were slaves of Kalhoda, Meer and Mughal.
And now in Sindh mostly Kachhi people those who are working under landlords are like slaves or blunded labor. Before Sindh province was a forest and people were depending labor. A person says that since 1930 (before Indo Pak war) Kachhi are doing agriculture under landlords. So that’s why they also applied here in Pakistan that same agriculture under landlords.
So here in Pakistan mostly 98% Kachhi depends on Agriculture and they also like to have cattle. And 1% depends on their cattle and 1% has their own business. Many of them get 50% share from landlords but majority is getting just 25% share and few even don’t get any share they are living like prisoners.

Agriculture is the basis of the Kachhi economy. As sharecroppers, they raise cotton, wheat, rice, sugarcane, corn and oil seeds. The biggest problem for the farmers is the control of the water supply. Some of tribes live near the eastern tributaries of the Indus River, which serve as an irrigation system for their crops. However most of the farmers are dependent on canal irrigation from the Indus flooding along Indus is common after heavy rains which occur from July until August. Unfortunately, the flooding has caused serious deforestation, soil erosion and water logging. Much of the groundwater in the region has also become salty and unfit for agricultural use. Surface drains have been built to help solve these problems
