K-Electric Talent Hunt: The K-Electric Talent Hunt for Management Trainees and Trainee Engineers has been involved in appointment of fresh talent from top level universities of Pakistan. K-Electric Talent Hunt 2013 is result of 22 management trainees from LUMS, IBA and IoBM and nearly 140 Trainee Engineers from NUST, NED, GIKI, SSUET and FAST.

  • Management Trainee: Management trainee will be able to explore different areas and functions within company and in different fields of experience. Management Trainee can select following functions, depending on business need:
  1. Human resource
  2. Distribution Strategy
  3. Business Development
  4. Marketing
  5. Supply chain
  6. Information Technology
  7. Finance
  • Trainee Engineer: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Engineer to work at the heart of K-Electric. Trainee Engineers are divided into two functions – Generation and Transmission & Distribution.

1.       Distribution Trainee Engineers: Engineers have to experience a demanding strategy for the first 6 months in the fundamental distribution business before their final employment for the remaining 6 months. Distribution Trainee Engineers get comprehensive idea that adds to the business of the value Distribution.

2.       Generation & Transmission (G&T) Trainee Engineers: Engineers will get hand-on-feel experience of the operations and mechanics of generation & transmission technologies in addition to placement in plants. G&T Trainees will also get familiar to SCADA, Grid System Operations, Load Dispatch Centre, etc.

Application Procedure:

K-Electric Recruiters conduct on-campus employment that efforts to lookout for the best talent from March to May. The test considers candidates’ basic knowledge about Mathematics, English and Analytical perception.

Interviews:

The valuation is monitored by two interviews:

  1.  An HR screening interview that allows company to measure fitness for the K-Electric culture
  2. A practical interview to calculate skill-based abilities.

The concluding proposal is made soon after the interview manner is accomplished.
