Karachi: Karachi police chief Shahid Hayat has ordered to close all kinds of restaurants, hotels, bakery, milk shops and ice-cream parlors in city after 12:00 am. The process of arresting businessmen who are not obeying this rule has been started in Karachi recently. Traders are saying that Police has found an easy way for peace and security of the people by closing their business; it is not the ways to ban double riding of bikes and closing food shop at night as their business turns in night well and good.
Police’s orders are illegal, selling numbers are high in the night through it is very big loss of our business, we can’t bear it. While Karachi was getting better in the night opening shops but due to this rule, business rate will decrease soon, traders told.
Police should take some serious decisions about the condition of the city as it is not in favorable of the people of Karachi. People will get disturb due to unappreciable rule of police because they get free in night due to hustle bustle of work. A citizen enjoys restaurants, hotels and food courts in night as compared to the day. And the weekends are the most money maker days as people can enjoy their weekends by hoteling and shopping for food stuff.
Traders assume by following these kinds of rule will lead them to a great loss. But they are helpless they have to follow their rules and regulations otherwise they will create another mass in businessman’s life.
