Weather in the metropolis is set to remain pleasant as clouds dominate on the sky and people of Karachi awaiting the first drop of the monsoon. This report is published by country’s forecasting Authority.
Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar has said that we have given instruction to municipal administration to perform the cleaning works regularly. He said that we don’t want to disturb the people of Karachi from rainfall.
He visited Gujjar Nullah, Lyari Express Way, CBM Nullah, Chakra Goth Nullah, Nasir Colony Nullah, Korangi Road Nullah, Industrial Nullah. At this moment metropolitan commissioner Dr. Syed Saif Rehman, Senior Director Coordination Masood Alam and other officers were also presented.
Recently Officials associated with disaster management authorities claimed that they have spent nearly 3 billion rupees on the reparation of Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD) to protect Karachi and other parts of Sindh from disastrous flood.
