Mr. Mehmood Jan is a member of current Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly whose tenure spans from the year 2013 till date. He is a senior politician among the ranks of right wing, democratic political party led by Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf. He belongs to constituency PK-07 Peshawar-VII. He is a local community leader who has arisen from the ground level politics. He is serving at responsible official positions currently. He is famous in his community for relief efforts and public support.
Mr. Mehmood Jan received good education and has a background of good morals. He has attained public support. He is not only a politician but a man who believes in democracy, fraternity, unity, justice, freedom and authority. He has worked as a sincere worker of his party with devotion and zeal. He is serving as Committee Chairman of Standing Committee No. 12 on Health Department and as a committee member of Standing Committee No. 27 on Sports, culture, tourism, museums archaeology and youth affairs department, standing committee No. 19 on Food Department.
Mr. Mehmood Jan apart from his political responsibilities serves as a family member, a devoted father, a husband and a brother. He is living a happy married life and has raised 4 children who are obedient and dutiful. He follows Islam as religion.
