Language In India & Pakistan

Significance and effectiveness of the language is best sensed by those who meet with the people in other countries who know their language. Language serves as the media amongst the different groups to bring them together. The Muslims of India felt them as a separate nation when the Hindus claimed Hindi as the language of India.

Obviously, how could Muslims accept Hindi as their language also who were demanding a separate home land for them. This was the time when a separate language was needed for the identification of Muslim as a separate nation. Consequently, they declared Urdu as the language of Indian Muslims.

Urdu is the national language of Pakistan which is the only source of intimation amongst all the people who are living in the different areas of the country. Urdu language has played a very important factor in the formation of Ideology of Pakistan.
