Larkana Awami Ittehad (LAI) Protests At Jinnah Bagh, Larkana

Larkana Awami Ittehad (LAI)Larkana: Larkana Awami Ittehad (LAI) protested against the current leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) outside the Jinnah Bagh, Larkana on Monday. According to the details, a large number of politicians of Larkana Awami Ittehad (LAI) emerged in a form of rally and demanded to hold local government elections under the supervision of army in Sindh in order to meet with transparent elections.

Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, a LAI’s chief’s supporter said while speaking to the public rally that conspiracy has also emerged to gear up the elections at Naudero House, local PPP headquarters. As fraudulent officials, police officers and feudal lords have also gathered in Naudero with the aim to bring fakeness in elections but if people show their support to LAI, Zardari’s party can meet with the worst defeat, he added.

On the other hand, Mumtaz Ali Bhutto also recalled past popular riots in the world in order to motivate public and said that when public decide to stand against corrupt rulers, no one can save these leaders from worst defeat. He also assured public that they will be able to see a new change if they support LAI. [alert style=”white”] PPP’s co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari became the president of country with the help of international conspiracy as even he was not eligible for the post of presidency under Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution, Mr. Bhutto claimed. Similarly, LAI convener Haji Munawwar Ali Abbasi also said while speaking to the occasion that robbers and looters have been recognized by the people now and oncoming LG elections will win by those who believes in n Benazir Bhutto’s policies. On the other hand, President of Pakistan Peoples Party-Workers, Dr Safdar Abbasi further added that it has showed that Larkana is not anyone’s jagir after today’s public rally of LAI. [alert style=”white”] No past leaders of the country became successful in order to preserve name of Benazir Bhutto as most of the PPP’s leaders got large number of votes just because of Banazir Bhutto, he said.[/alert]

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)’s Shafqat Huusain Unnar, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s Babu Sarfraz Jatoi, Tarique Nazeer Shaikh and Sardar Fida Hussain Gopang also addressed to the occasion in order to endorse the demand of LAI’s leaders.

However, the protest was led by Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, Haji Munawwar Ali Abbasi, Moazzim Abbasi, Amir Bakhsh Bhutto, Shafqat Unnar and Syed Akbar Shah Rashidi along with other political figures.
