Match Fixing In Pakistan, West Indies ODI Series???

pakistan cricket match fixingThe recently concluded Pakistan and West Indies One Day International (ODI) series will be investigated by the officers of the ICC Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU), according to UK based Daily Mail newspaper website.

According to report the third ODI which was tied and fifth ODI where Pakistan won on the last ball will be scrutinized. The reporter further added that unusual large sums of money was gambled between innings on a tied result during the third ODI at Gros Islet, St Lucia after Pakistan set West Indies 230 runs to win from 50 overs.

Pakistan won the five matches ODI series by 3-1. Green shirts won the first ODI by 126 runs, second ODI was won by West Indies by 37 runs. 3rd ODI was tied whereas Misbah’s men won 4th ODI by six wickets and 5th ODI by 4 wickets on last ball. Pakistan also won the first Twenty20 International by two wickets on last ball. The 2nd Twenty20 International will be played today at Kingstown.
