The Maya Khan Show aired on Express TV is another depiction of going against the norms, culture, tradition and ethical values of the society and that of the religion. Shows are usually aimed to inject people with something new, informative, entertaining but useful in nature but sadly our local TV channels to get high ratings have completely lost the basic media ethics and continue to violate the essence of the morning shows.
Maya Khan had remained into limelight due to her leaked images in which she was seen wearing immodest dressess, partying with men. On the social websites, various links and posts have unrevealed of her love relationships where she can be seen dating with few of the known men of the Pakistani media industry.
Hosts like her who her loose in character can do no good to the show which they present. Few weeks back Maya Khan show carried the topic of ‘Jinnats’. A baba named Abdullah was called upon where he helps to solve the problems of people though his spiritual and religious knowledge. The show sometimes carries the vulgar elements, sometimes deviating from the basic ethics and sometimes wearing the Islamic veil.
People on Facebook page, either have strongly criticized her show terming it to be completely fake since a person on hand cannot solve the problems while others appreciate the step taken to inculcate belief of people who according to the religious preaching do exist as part of God’s creation like us.

It is pertinent here to mention that Maya Khan had been host at the Samaa TV channel but after she raided the parks and lively covered and interviewed the young males and females who were supposed to ‘date’ was fired from her job.
