Mobile Phone Service To Be Blocked On Friday (21st September) In Pakistan

A news has been spread through SMS and social networking websites (facebook, twitter, Google +) that mobile service will be closed/blocked on Friday (21st September) in Karachi and other parts of Pakistan. It is written in SMS that all mobile service will remain close from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

In the recent Eid mobile service was blocked in some parts of the country, including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Multan.

It is to be noted that Government of Pakistan has announced public holiday on Friday to observe Yaum-e-Ishq-e-Rasool (SAWW). The federal cabinet decided to make Friday an official “day of expression of love for the prophet” against anti-Islam movie.

Update: PTA, Federal Ministry and cellular companies have confirmed this news. Tomorrow services of  all mobile companies (Mobilink, Ufone, Zong, Warid and Telenor) will be remained off almost for 14 Hours.
