Mobile Service May Be Suspended On 3rd January – Schools, Colleges Close

Karachi: All the schools, colleges will remain close on Thursday (3rd January) on the holy occasion of Chelum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A.). However banks,offices will remain open as unusual and only educational institutions will be closed. Market, shops, business will also remain open.

There are also reports that mobile services will be suspended on the occasion of Chelum due to security reasons. The timing for the suspension of mobile service is not yet known.

Parents living in Karachi have complained that because of lot of holidays, strike, vacations students suffers a lot. Syllabus of the students are not completed in time which causes problem in examinations.

 Update: Mobile service will remain suspended in 53 cities across the country from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
