Recently a relative of mine was robbed of his mobile, her wife mobile and purse. The incident occurred outside Cutchi Memon Family Park which is located near Bahadurabad, Karachi. Four men on two motorcycles came and pointed gun on my relative and demanded of their belongings.
In the last month or so Rangers and Police are claiming that they have done hundreds of targeted operations and have arrested many culprits and seized weapons but it looks that that law enforcement agencies have not yet done any operation in areas like Bahadurabad, P.E.C.H.S where mobile snatching is on rise. Service lanes of both sides of Shara-e-Faisal (from Baloch Colony Bridge to FTC Building) are also affected by this menace and lots of mobile phones are also snatched there.
It will be appreciated if Rangers and Police take some action on said areas and arrest those criminals who are involved in this activity. Bahadurabad S.H.O. should become efficient and should take some action to stop these street crimes.
