MPA Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar is a renowned politician as he is also a Minister for cooperatives and prisons. Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer is a son of Malik Faiz Muhammad Channer and was born on March 15, 1950 at Bahawalpur. He completed his LL.B graduation in 1971 from Willayat Hussain Islamia Law College, Multan.
Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar has a Party affiliation with Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) who worked as Member of District Council in the 1983-1993. Ha has performed on many posts in his career such as an Administrator of Market Committee during 1989-1993; as Chairman of Market Committee in 1993-1994 and as Nazim Union Council No.27 in the year 2001-2002. He also supported as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-2007 and has been selected again for the second time in general elections of 2008. As he continued Minister for Special Education from 9th June 2009 to 29th June 2010 and now is effectively working as Minister for Prisons.

In Musharaf,s era when his all leadership was out of country he rejected all the offers by PML Q. He is working as provincial minister for cooperatives now a days. NAB should look into bank accounts owned by his family members and land purchased between 2002 to 2016. With no profitable business whatsoever this curropt politician is filthy rich now.
