Karachi: Attack on the 14 year old young Swati girl Malala who is a symbol of women empowerment and promoter of female education by the Taliban has increased the risk of girls to become victims residing in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad and Karachi working to pursue knowledge and education.
We need to protect ourselves and form safeguarding communities in every nook and corner. MQM leader Altaf Hussein had earlier said that Taliban would come to the door steps exploiting the nation but no heed was paid to it. This has come true.
Deputy Convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Coordination committee Anis Ahmed Qaimkhani spoke these words while addressing to a large gathering organised at the Lal Qila Azizabad ground for the safe recovery of the Taliban targeted victim and ambassador of women education, Malala Yousufzai.
On the occasion, Saira Khatoon, Rabita Commitee members, Haq Parast Senators, MNAs, MPAs, women parliamentarians while other belonging from other fields also attended the gathering.
Anis said the nation needs to raise voice against this barbarism.” They are not terrorist but coward people”, said Mr. Anis.
Malala’s family has also thanked the MQM leader who inquired and sent messages for the victim’s family. The family has shown faith in MQM and thanked the party for raising voice and showing sympathy unlike the other political parties.
