Muzaffarabad: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Azad Kashmir has demonstrated a huge protest in Azad Kashmir’s zone for abusing the word Mohajir by Pakistan People Party’s leader Khursheed Shah. The protest was led under the supervision of member of Organizational committee Malik Tanveer and zonal’s in charge Izzat Ali as protest was held near Central Press Club.
District in charge Chaudhry Shahid Yaqoob, zone’s members Parvez Durrani, Ali Saeed, Rafaqat Kazmi, Umar Shah, Malik Mustafa, Sohail Saeed and large number of people including women, children, youngsters and elders were also became part of this protest against Khursheed Shah. Participants in the protest strongly condemned the act of Khursheed Shah who have insulted the word Mohajir and chanted slogans against PPP’s leader Khursheed Shah.
MQM has also staged protest in Karachi by announcing Black Day over Khursheed Shah’s comment. MQM and whole Mohajir community got highly angry over opposition leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah for insulting Mohajir and demanded for an urgent apology from him. [alert style=”white”]It is important to highlight here that Khursheed Shah has apologized for his statements by saying that he did not mean to hurt the sentiments of Mohajirs’ community because he is also a Mohajir as his family was also migrated to the Pakistan centuries before.[/alert]
