MQM Bao Muhammad Anwar Killed In Sialkot

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Sialkot district vice President Bao Muhammad Anwar was killed by unknown armed men on early hours of 10th December in Sialkot. MQM announced countrywide protest over killing of its worker. According to MQM Bao Anwar was with his brother and son outside restaurant when armed men fired him.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain condemned the killing of Bao Anwar and demanded immediate arrest of those who are responsible for killing Bao Anwar. Altaf Hussain also suspended MQM’s Rabita committees in London and Karachi. He said that party workers and supporters should hold demonstrations not only in Karachi but all over Pakistan.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the murder and phoned Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and told him that murderers will be arrested soon and he (Shahbaz Sharif) himself will personally supervise the investigation of killing.
