Fakhrul Islam submitted his nomination papers for PS-47 constituency on MQM’s ticket. Police reached the incident place and started initial investigation. Supporters of MQM also reached the incident place and were saddened to hear the death news.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain and senior leaders condemned the killing of Fakhrul Islam and expressed their sorrow over the death. MQM leaders and workers have demanded that caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh, Justice (retd) Zahid Qurban Alavi immediately take notice of this killing and arrest the culprits.
