MQM Irum Azeem Farooque Resigns From MPA, Leaves Party

MQM Irum Azeem FarooqueKarachi: Irum Azeem Farooque who was a MPA of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has resigned from her seat (RWS-154) and party too. In this regard she has also tweeted at her official account by saying that I have left the party for good of Pakistan politics. She also added that she does not want to work with the speculator people who are actually damaging the image of the party.

Former MPA Irum Azeem Farooque has showed admiration and respect for her leader Altaf Hussain and declared to stay honest with party leadership. [alert style=”white”]I love MQM but seat is not my first priority as I can’t afford further stress, Irum Azeem Farooque added in her tweet.[/alert] It is worth mentioning that Irum Azeem was also a member of Standing Committee on Cooperatives, Standing Committee on Labour and Human Resources, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges. She was a known as an important member of the party who was selected on a reserved seat for women in the Sindh Assembly by MQM.

Irum Azeem Farooque was born on 5th February, 1967 in Karachi as she is married and has 3 children. She completed her BA in Political Science from PECHS College for Women in 1989 and passed her matriculation from Little Folks Secondary School in the year 1985.
