MQM Karachi Tanzeemi Committee (KTC) History & Working

MQM flagKarachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Karachi Tanzeemi Committee (KTC) which was formed 12 years ago with a goal to handle party’s organizational works. The committee consists of 35 members who have been creating affected influences since many years as it is known as a top decision-making medium of the MQM due to which it is known as MQM “Muscle body”.

KTC when the time of its creation was first headed by the MQM leader Waseem Aftab is responsible to organize public meetings, rallies, street corner meetings, protest demonstrations, run election campaigns, organize protest demonstrations and to activate party unit and the commonalities. Almost all the 26 sectors and above 200 units of the party’s organizational structure are used to report to the KTC in Karachi. Naik Mohammad was also appointed as its new head in the year 2007 as well as MQM office-bearer Arshad Hassan, MQM leader Hammad Siddiqui and Dr Nadeem Ehsan, a former APMSO central leader have also become a head of the KTC as Hammad Siddiqui has worked in KTC as a head for a long time among all.

Many MQM’s leaders believe that KTC is the strength of the MQM who has been serving as a post office of MQM since many years as it is accountable for day-to-day managerial activities under the guidance of Altaf Hussain or the MQM international secretariat in London.
