MQM Protests outside White House for Obama’s Help

MQM protested outside White HouseWashington: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) protested outside White House near Washington DC in order to ask help from American’s President Barack Obama against state operation on Mohajirs. Members of Central Committee of MQM America, Members of Chapter Committee, and Chapter Incharge Faisal Usman, US-based Pakistanis including women, children and senior citizens were presented during demonstrations on Saturday.

Participants in the demonstration were holding placards in which different types of slogans written regarding illegal arrests of Mohajirs, fake murder cases and violation of human rights. Speakers said while addressing to the participants in the demonstrations that the purpose of the demonstration is to draw attention of United States and international communities towards the current situation of Mohajirs.

Speakers also appealed to Barack Obama, American Senate and members of the Congress to discuss this issue with Pakistani officials and try to end violence against Mohajirs which has been continuing since many years. On the other hand, participants in the demonstrations also expressed their commitment that they will severely continuingly raise the purpose of Mohajirs on international forum and will not give up from the struggle of Mohajir’s right in any case.

However protest will continue till one hour as well as participants also prayed in the last for the good health of MQM’s chief Altaf Hussain, forgiveness for martyrs and better future for Mohajirs.
