Sindh Assembly Passes Resolution To Ban Toy Gun

Sindh Assembly To Ban Toy GunKarachi: The Sindh Assembly has passed a resolution of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to ban toy gun in order to stop negativity among teenage. According to the details, a resolution which was proposed by MQM’s Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Syed Saifudin Khalid was passed on Tuesday.

In this regard, MPA Syed Saifudin Khalid said while explaining the reason behind the resolution that parents are used to purchase toy gun for their children due to which children inspire for crime and violence activities. Similarly, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s Jam Khan Shoro also endorsed the resolution and said that some of the toy guns seem to be real these days due to which criminals are also using it for looting activities.

Jam Khan Shoro further explained that recently a gang has also caught in Punjab who were using toy guns for offensive activities as plastic guns are hard to identify whether it is real or fake. On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) member Syed Hafeezuddin also requested to impose ban on all type of guns so that offensive activities can be decreased and our society can emerged as weapon-free.

In the meantime, some of the MPAs also demanded during the debate to take those steps which can make whole Sindh as de-weaponise.
