MQM Supreme Council Members Include Nusrat Nadeem, Farooq Sattar

MQMKarachi: Popular political party of urban Sindh, MQM has announced to form 9 members Supreme Council. According to a press release issued by the spokesperson of MQM, Altaf Hussain had called emergency meeting of all the representatives and members of Rabita Committee on Saturday 30th January 2016. In this meeting, different organizational, party, national and international issued have been discussed. While addressing all the members of provincial and national assemblies, MQM’s Quaid Altaf Hussain has announced to form a 9-member Supreme Council. Nadeem Nusrat and Farooq Sattar are also part of this 9-member Supreme Council.

During this meeting, Altaf Hussain has also announced to make Nadeem Nusrat permanent Convener of MQM. It has been also decided in this meeting that the Supreme Council of MQM will guide the officials and members of the party in case of non availability of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain. It has been also decided during this meeting that the current setup of Rabita Committee will perform its duties according to the routine. Altaf Hussain has also issued directions to all the members and officials of MQM to maintain unity.

Nadeem Nusrat, Farooq Sattar, Barrister Dr Faroogh Nasim, Senator Nasreen Jalil, Kanwar Naveed, Rauf Siddiqui, Babar Khan Ghouri, Ms Kishwar Zahra and Iftikhar Hussain are part of MQM’s Supreme Council.
