MQM Welcomed PTI With Good Gestures And Intentions: Farooq Sattar

Farooq SattarKarachi: The leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Farooq Sattar said while addressing to conference that MQM welcomed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its chief with good gestures and intentions as it will be unfair to doubt on our sincerity. PTI’s chief Imran Khan was showered with rose petals by the activists of MQM and no unpleasant incident emerged in Karachi as some negative elements were claiming that, Sattar added.

The 56-years old MQM’s leader also said some elements are trying to create difference between MQM and PTI as it is necessary to create coordination with each other in order to save from any propaganda and negativity.   There was only a slight clash occurred after the visit of Imran Khan in Karachi, he added.

Farooq Sattar further said that MQM got engaged in the preparation for the welcoming of Imran Khan in Karachi just after the orders of MQM’s chief Altaf Hussain. [alert style=”white”]There was also a setup of lunch for Imran Khan and his wife Reham Khan as well as MQM also had some gifts for the guests, Farooq told.[/alert]

Moreover, MQM’s leader said that MQM also appreciated that Imran Khan took start of his election campaign from Yadgar-e-Shuhada but not going to Yadgar-e-Shuhada before leaving for the airport was unexpected from Imran Khan.
