MQM’s Leader Amir Khan’s Bail Granted

MQM's Amir KhanKarachi: Anti-terrorism court has granted bail to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s leader Amir Khan. According to the details, a hearing of bail of MQM’s leader was held on Monday at ATC where court accepted his bail appeal while ordering to submit 10 million as security bonds.

However, court has also ordered that senior MQM’s Rabita Committee Amir Khan cannot leave country without permission while asking him to follow the trial. On the other hand, several MQM’s leaders and workers were presented during the hearing. After the approval of bail, Amir Khan also talked to the media and said that the court has granted bail and he will acquit from the case too.

On the other hand, anti-terrorism court has also surrendered MQM’s activist Shakeel alias Baba to rangers for 9 days remand while Hassan Akhtar has also been surrendered to police for 7 days. It is worth mentioning here that Amir Khan was arrested during rangers’ raid at party’s Nine Zero headquarters in Azizabad on March 11 with accused of harboring terrorists.

Senior leader was under detained for three months but no any convicting evidence was brought by prosecution against Amir Khan as his lawyer had claimed all allegations are baseless against Amir Khan.
