Sher Ali Khan’ is a famous member of 16th Assembly, tenure of which is from the year 2013 till date. He belongs to constituency PP-18 (Attock-IV). Currently he holds the position of Minister of Mines and Minerals and by profession he is an agriculturist. He is a whole hearted politician associated with mainstream political part Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.
Mr Sher Ali was born in the area of Rawalpindi on 24th July 1961. His father’s name is Mumtaz Ali Khan. He is married. He has had various official positions in past and he is a politician by family. He has been a member, District Attock of District Council from year 1987-1993. He was also Minister of Energy in Government of Punjab from 11th June 2013 to 13th November 2013. He has also served as Member of Provincial Assembly of Punjab (MPA) from 2008-2013.
His grandfather Sardar Sir Muhammad Nawaz Khan was a high profiled politician in Indian Legislative Assembly and later Punjab Legislative Assembly after partition in 1947. He has been elected multiple times. Similarly his uncle Nawabzada Malik Fateh Khan, his wife’s grandfather Nawabzada Sarfraz Hussain Khan and cousin Maj (R) Malik Azam Khan are/were renowned politicians.He has travelled to various places including Saudi. Arabia, UAE, UK and US.
