Muhammad Afzal Sindhu Resigns from National Assembly Membership

Muhammad Afzal SindhuIslamabad: Former Federal Law Minister Afzal Sindhu quitted from National Assembly (NA) Seat, here on Tuesday. In 2008 elections, Sindhu was elected Member National assembly from NA-191 (Bahawalnagar-IV). He has also remained Federal Minister of State for Railways.

Its worth mentioning here that Afzal Sindhu joined Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) in July 2011 but he didn’t resigned from National assembly seat. Almost 6 months, he took this decision.

Sindhu has strong following in Haroonabad but after he left PPP, he received criticism in his area. PTI is getting more strong votes from south Punjab as compare to other areas of country. After Makhdooms’ and Hashmis’ inclusion, PTI already hold some major NA seats.
