Multan is particularly noted for its antiquity and is called the city of tombs. There is a group of buildings of a very fine quality of Multan. Which throw some useful light on the early style of Islamic architecture. Although the buildings of Multan have been repaired for several times since the time of their erection, their origional designs seems to have been remarkably retained.
