Nasir Jamal, Dr Sagheer Ahmed Removed From MQM Rabita Committee

Dr Sagheer Ahmed and Nasir JamalKarachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee has announced on Sunday the removal of party leaders Nasir Jamal and Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed from the Rabita Committee. According to the details, Dr Sagheer Ahmed and Nasir Jamal were discharged from the board due to their official and private engagements.

Senior leader Nasir Jamal worked as the deputy convener of the party and now his responsibilities will be handled by Central Information Committee. The break has been given to Mr. Jamal also that he can focus on the News Committee as well as he is also asked to work with the party’s central information too. Dr Sagheer Ahmed who is a Sindh’s health minister was a strong member of the party as he has given quality time in order to look after the health issues of the Sindh. According to the statement of the party, these two senior leaders will now serve for the Central Information Committee.

According to the press release, the decision of discharging of both leaders has also been permitted by MQM’s chief Altaf Hussain. [alert style=”white”]  It is pertinent to remarked here that 19 members of Rabita Committee had been suspended by the party on 20th July due to carelessness towards their responsibilities.  However these members were reinstated after 12 hours”[/alert]
