Hyderabad: National Labor Federation’s General Secretary Rana Mahmood Ai Khan urged Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) for pension and said in his statement that Federal government announced to increase Rs. 5,000 in pension of EOBI’s employees on the eve of the 2014-15 Budget.
Rana Mahmood Ai Khan further said EOB also did not increase employees’ pension last year as it should be increased during the 2013-14 Budget. Similarly, when 2014 Budget come across EOBI pension again ignored consequently. He also said that EOBI is giving minimum pension of Rs. 3600 which should be raise at least this time as Federal government has already announced increments in the pensions in the recent budget. Rana Mahmood Ai complained that no directions have been given to EOBI for increment in pensions by Federal government in this regard due to which pension of workers of EOBI should be increased form Rs. 3600 to Rs. 5,000 or Rs. 6,000.
National Labor Federation’s General Secretary demanded that EOBI’s workers’ pension should be increased Rs. 5,000 from 2013 Budget and Rs. 6,000 from 2014 Budget and to give the dues of hard working employees of EOBI. Meanwhile Pensions claims action committee’s meeting was held under the supervision of Muhammad Shafi in which it is demanded that pension will be given to them who will claim it.
Federal Government has willfully manged the corrutpion in EOBI FROM 2001towarss therefore they are loose their honesty and majority of corruption cases are sleeping on the desk of justicie which are unattended by the honourable supreme court of Pakistan. Our pnesion were not increased dur to the willfully corrutpion planned of Federal Government and our Judisiciary help therefore all insured and pensioners are requested to come on the plat form of Union and start protest behind the supreme court of Pakistan. The date should be fixed by the Labour Federation and start affixing the banner for highlighting the corruption .
