No Plan For Second Marriage Now: Wasim Akram

Pakistan former cricket captain Wasim Akram has said in a recent interview that he is not interested in second marriage now. He is focusing on his children. Left arm fast bowler was married to Huma in 1995. Huma Akram died in October 2009. Wasim also added that time will tell that whether he will go for second marriage or not.

After that Wasim Akram name has came with Indian actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen but it was only a media speculation. Wasim and Sushmita was judge in in dance show “Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina”. After the show Indian media reported that Wasim and Sushmita are dating and have an affair. However both Wasim and Sushmita denied the reports. In 2011 Wasim’s name was also paired with Humaima Malik but no marriage happened also this time.

Wasim Akram has two sons Tahmoor (born in 1996) and Akbar (born in 2000). From the last few years after the death of her wife Huma, Wasim has shifted to Karachi from Lahore. His sons are getting eduation from schools in Karachi.
