Oil: 81 percent of oil requirements of Pakistan is fulfilled through imported oil. Nevertheless, the import of oil is being decreased gradually as new oil reserves are being discovered. A vast geological survey has been conducted by Oil and Gas Developed Corporation (OGDC) in Pakistan. 3, oil refineries are working presently in Pakistan; Pakistan Refinery Limited and National Refinery Limited at Karachi and Attock Refinery Limited at Attock district Rawalpindi.
Natural Gas: Exclusive natural gas and mixed with oil gas reserves are abundantly available in Pakistan as GOD Gift. The large reserves of gas have been discovered at Sui and Mari (Baluchistan). Moreover they have also been found at Kobhar & Rodho. Now natural gas is being used by converting it into compressed form (CNG).
