One Share, One Like For One Dollars?

Recently I saw an image of a child on various social networking websites (Facebook, twitter, Google plus). The caption of the image is as follows:

I am not asking you to click “like” but i am asking you to please click share. For every share of this pic facebook will donate 1$ to the starving kids all over the globe . your one share can make a difference

This image has been shared more than one million times. There have been many images, videos like these on Facebook which want people to share or to like. But the truth is that no one donates any money for sharing or linking these type of images.

Only people share these type of images to promote their Facebook pages and to increase their Facebook likes. People should not share these types of images as it only plays with emotions of people and doesn’t carry any truth.

Many photos related to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) belongings have been shared on Facebook without any authenticity which is also regrettable.
