Musarrat Ahmed Zeb photoIslamabad: Former Swat Valley’s family descendant and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly (NA) member Mussarat Ahmed Zeb has said that transparent and fair elections shall be held with the participation of the militant Taliban. She said that we can facilitate and consolidate Afghanistan after wiping out the foreign troops from the country.

Mussarat Ahmed Zeb who is representing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on a reserved seat for women in National Assembly said that if the foreign troops leave the country and our government fails to enter into peaceful agreements with the militants then our country can once again get inflicted with unstable conditions.  The PTI leader spoke to the media men outside after the National meeting. Miss Mussarat Ahmed who was among the 9 members led delegate to visit Kabul few months back, said that the political parties do not speak truth to the nation, including her own associated party, PTI.

Mussarat opined that it is necessary to wage operation against the militants who do not agree for peaceful negotiations, while those who favor peaceful negotiations can be talked.

In reply to one of the questions she said that no peace can be established after the 2009 operations in Swat and Malakand. She said that if the army troops leave the area, then once again ‘talibanisation’ can form hegemony over the region.

The PTI member stated that those who cause violation in other parts of the region are none other than our very own people.
