Pakistan Army to Control Islamabad Security for 3 Months

Islamabad: The Federal Government has approved to give the responsibility of Islamabad’s security for 3 months to army while enacted Article 345 of the Constitution. In this regard, the Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the government has resorted to Article 245 with respect to the potential security concerns.

According to the further details, Army can call for civil government assistance for internal and external security of the country as this action of the government cannot be challenged in any court of the country. While talking to the media, Interior Minister pointed out that district administration of Islamabad received no such request regarding Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s long march towards freedom. However, decision of holding the protest of PTI in Islamabad will be taken after the returning of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from Saudi Arabia.[alert style=”white”] It is to remember that Nawaz Sharif has approved the placement of the armed forces on 4^th July in order to boost security at sensitive places for the help of civil administration under Article 245.[/alert]

It is pertinent to mention that according to Article 245, the High Court cannot be used powers themselves under Article 199 where Article 245 will be applied while the court proceedings, if any, will be suspended for a period under the jurisdiction.
