Pakistan Hindu Council’s Cheela Ram Kewlani Demands For Security

Hindu ProtestKarachi: Pakistan Hindu Council president Cheela Ram Kewlani said that miscreants are involved in damaging their temples, the culprits should be charged with violation. Hindu also called for connection of CCTV cameras and placement of guards at their temples and shrines.

The Hindu politicians and community councils held a press conference in which they criticized the government and claimed to take steps in this trouble making problem. Pakistan Hindu Council’s Cheela Ram Kewlani demanded officials to take notice of the situation. “As long as our houses of worships are not safe, we are in trouble”.

In the meantime, Hindus protested in parts of Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Tharparkar districts to convict the attacks on their temples and went on strike. In Mirpurkhas, Pakistan Hindu Panchayat leader MNA Kishan Chand Parwani led protest demonstrations from Lal Mandir to the press club where they also played a symbolic protest against government.

We will never leave Sindh as some people trying to make us to left, no matter what they do it was the duty of the Muslim brothers to protect the sectors and give them safety, Kewlani added.

Pakistan Hindu Council president Cheela Ram Kewlani said that the successions of attacks had in progress from March 15, when the Dharam Shala in Larkana was set on fire. The Hanuman temple in Hyderabad was set on fire on March 28 while Faqir Par Braham ashram in Tharparkar was despoiled on Sunday.

Sunita Rajput appealed that the smashed temples were significant constructions, older than the formation of Pakistan and India by holding a banner.
