On 14 August 2005 Pakistan has completed by 58 year of her establishment. This much period can be regarded as sufficient for a country to make industrial progress to a great extent. Unfortunately Pakistan has not made any progress in industries except two or three industries.
Pakistan is therefore regarded still am under developed country. Although Pakistan is regarded as an agrarian country still has not become self sufficient in food grains edible oil, pulses, tea and frequently wheat has to be imported.
Industrial products, petroleum, machines and defence equipments have to be imported (to the extent of 75 to 80%).
