Pakistan Railways Losses Increases, Politician’s Responsible?

Pakistan Railways is facing a shortage of 53 billion rupees for the fiscal year 2011-12. Pakistan Railways earning is 12 billion rupees. The expenditure of the Pakistan Railways is almost 65 billion rupees therefore Railways is facing shortage of 53 billion rupees.

Railway in India was also suffering loss but now they are earning huge profits.Pakistan Railways has been destroyed because of political appointments, political intervention, non-merit jobs.

The biggest reason is corruption in Pakistan Railways is at top just like other institutions. It will better if credible, honest person is appointed as head of Pakistan Railways. Political appointment should come to end in Pakistan Railways and over staffing should be stopped.
