Pakistan Tallest Building – Centre Point Tower (Trakker Tower)

Recently an agreement has been signed between Malik Riaz Hussain of Bahria Town and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Chairman Abu-Dhabi Group to built world tallest building in Karachi. Under the agreement $45 billion will be invested in Pakistan.

The question is which is the tallest building in Pakistan at present? So the answer is Centre Point Tower (also known as Trakker Tower) located in Karachi. The building has 27 floors and height of 150 m 492 ft. this building is located Korangi Road. The first nine floors of building are for car parking.

The second tallest building is Ocean Tower (formerly known as Sofitel Tower) and it is located near KPT underpass in Karachi. The building has 28 floors but its height is 120 m 393 ft. the third tallest building of Pakistan is also located in Karachi and it is 29 floors MCB Tower. Height of MCB Tower located at I.I Chundrigar Road is 116 m 381 ft. construction of MCB tower began in 2000 and it was completed in 2005 and remained Pakistan’s tallest building for few years.

Habib Bank Plaza remained Pakistan’s tallest building for four decades. Habib Bank Plaza is also located at I.I Chundrigar Road, Karachi and its height is 101 m 331 ft and has 22 floors.
