Pakistan’s First WiFi train “Green-line” Starts

green-line-trainIslamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated Pakistan’s first WiFi train named as Green-Line in Islamabad which will operate from Islamabad to the biggest city of Pakistan Karachi. Green-Line train will start to run from Margalla station of Islamabad and will reach to Karachi Cantt within 22 hours while staying at the stations of Lahore, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rohri and Hyderabad.

Green-Line train also contains 6 AC business class innovative bogies while further 4 AC class bogies will also set with train from Lahore. However Green-Line business train is all set to provide several facilities including breakfast, lunch, dinner, mineral water, tea, newspapers, standard bedding, necessary items and WiFi to all the passengers of this train. There is a space of 500 passengers who can travel in Green-Line train without any problem of seats as the fare of the train from Islamabad to Karachi is Rs. 5500 while Lahore to Karachi’s fare is Rs. 5000.

The train which is fully air-conditioned will start its very first dive from 22nd May as train will departure from Karachi Cantt at 3pm and will reach to Karachi Cantt at 1pm. On the other hand, special lounges for passengers are in under construction these days for Green-Line train at Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi railway stations.
