Passport Fees In Pakistan Is Very High

I went to Passport Office located in Sadar near Sindh High Court to apply for Passport as I want to go to Dubai for job. Official present at Passport Office, Sadar told me that my passport will be made at Passport Office in Awami Markaz. I went there and was shocked to know that fees for ordinary passport is 3100 Rupees and if one has to apply on urgent basis then urgent fees is 5100 Rupees.

I didn’t know that applying for Passport is this expensive; I was thinking that fees would be under 1000 Rupees. Now I have to collect 3100 Rupees so that I can apply for Passport and then go to Dubai and search for Job.
