Recently my friend’s family arrived at Karachi Airport via PIA from London Heathrow. While on way to home, someone chased car and snatched all valuables at gun point. Alhamuddulah all are safe but it appears to be Karachi is not safe anymore. It also appears to be without collaboration of workers at airport, this type of crime is not possible.
Not sure, what is security plan for Travelers from airport to city. I doubt if there any plan.
It also appears to be international flights are targeted. It was rampant in the past; it’s again on the go!!!!
And it’s mostly happening on PIA flights coming from UK, US and Canada. So it’s pretty obvious that someone already knows details of passengers… twice happened with my relatives too
Last time I arrived at Karachi international airport, while meeting my family I noticed one guy following me. I double checked, he was actually following!!! I had to scream at him so he ran away but throughout our way back to home we were really afraid if they would be following us! This is actually happening…. please be careful.
