People Parking On My Gate For Namaz in Mosque – What to do?

My main gate is across the entrance of a mosque. Every time people going to the mosque park their cars and their motorbikes in my parking sometimes even blocking the gate of my house. When my car is already parked in the designated spot, they double park their car blocking my car completely.

It has become a nuisance. They don’t listen to the chowkidars and instead blast them with both barrels with statements like “jahil” or “namaz parhne ja rhe hain hum”. I don’t want to confront them since I’ve already tried doing that in vain.

Can anyone guide me where can I get boards that I can erect which read no parking or something similar that can be used to keep people from occupying the place.

Go to Burnsroad. Get a vinyl printed. It would probably resolve your issue as signboards do help/

Cordon off the area in front of your door with a rope.

Write i will scratch ur car if you park here on the sign

Get support from Masjid Administration who normally are area people.

I don’t think that boards will finish your problems. In Pakistan, following rules is a CRIME.

Board reading No Parking will get you more cars parked there, this is Karachi.

I guess you should facilitate them for parking their car offer water some refreshment in masjid with an announcement that you do care for namazis, but it should be very kind of them not to park their car outside your house as in case of emergency you will not be able to go anywhere. I think by playing emotionally you problem could be resolve by the time. This practice should be followed at least for 7days.

It won’t work.. Actually I’m facing the same problem. No Parking is written on our gate but no one bothers. Not only the illiterate chauffeurs but the PARHAY LIKKHAY JAHIL also park their cars in front of my gate.
