Pervez Musharraf Security and Medical Expense Report Revealed

Rawalpindi / Islamabad:  Daily a Lakh on treatment and 10 lakh on security arrangements are spent on former president retired General Pervez Musharraf. Up till, report details of his medical tests have not yet been released. Hence, appearance of the retired general before the court in the trail cases could not yet been decided.

According to the hospital sources, if the medical test reports do not satisfy the doctors, then Musharraf would not be able to produce before the court on 16^th January despite the court order. It is said, he is better in conditions, with maintained blood pressure level.

Musharraf was admitted to hospital on 2^nd January 2014. From the time up till now, daily 1 lakh Rs are spent on his treatment, while 600 security officials and commanders have also been deployed as per the security measures.  Every day a total of 10 lac Rs are spent on former President.

High Court Bar Association President Taufiq Asif and Secretary Faisal Khan Niazi termed hospitalization mere a drama staged to adjourn the court proceedings. He said that protest will be staged by them outside the hospital. They further said that Pakistan Army shall not remain silent over the issue, as it would affect their image in eyes of the masses.

According to the law, it is necessary for the offender to present him or her at the court order. But, insiders say, it has been planned, that Musharraf’s lawyer will ask the court to delay the case and he will not appear, even if the medical reports turn out to be positive.
