PIA Fires 5 Employees in Money Laundering Case

PIA1Islamabad: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has fired their 5 employees including an airhostess who have found to be involve in money laundering case. According to the sources, 20 thousand pounds have recovered from the PIA’s employees who have arrested according counterterrorism act. Police kept these employees into custody for 6 hours in order to investigate the matter.

PIA’s employees who got arrested in money laundering case named as Saadia Nabeel, Mohammad Ahmad, Owais Ahmed, Fareeha Mukhtar and Tauseef Ahmad. However police had arrested 7 crewmembers of PIA after checking their language for two hours but two members were released on the same day. In this regard, sources told that all airports of UK have started strict checking of PIA’s staff as well as PIA’s aircrafts are also under strict supervision. It is worthy to mention that authorities of London’s Heathrow airport have issued Yellow Card to PIA due to the violation of rule.

On the other hand, sources has also claimed that suspected PIA’s employees were permitted to go from London airport to Karachi due to the special protocol agreement as well as High Commissioner of Pakistan has played an important role in the release of suspected employees from London airport.
