PIA MD Shahnawaz Rehman Profile

Mr. Shahnawaz Rehman who has recently become the Managing Director of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) was the Director of Corporate Planning of PIA since March, 2013. Shahnawaz Rehman has been providing his services to PIA for many years with his far-reaching experience in aviation industry. He received his Master degree in physics in 1975 from Govt. College Of Science Wahdat Road Lahore.

Although Rehman has worked in various sectors of PIA with his great talent and hardworking capabilities as he was a general manager of fleet planning from October 1999 – February 2004 where he served his 5 years in the field of planning department. In November 2004, Shahnawaz Rehman appointed as senior Vice President of financial monitoring and appraisal where he was responsible for many high class duties as he worked on this post for 2 years. After a while, Rehman got an opportunity to be the director of corporate planning of PIA in the year November, 2006 and continued his duties in this sector for a long time of almost 6 years.

Mr. Rehman has also remained the director of customer services in May 2012 to January 2013 as well as the director of human resources administration and Coordination and then he became the director of corporate planning in the year of 2013.
